13 July 2006, 4:30 PM Moscow Airport (SVO)
Layover. Uneventful flight from JFK to SVO. We had a row of three middle seats just to the two of us, so got some sleep. Moscow airport, SVO. Two floors of cafes, duty free shops, and waiting. Interesting ceiling - makes me think of a photography paper I wrote as an undergrad about a guy Rodchenko who liked to photograph bridges, steel towers, wire cables.
Shaved my head and my beard by the way.

I think Rodchenko was Marcel Duchamp's brother-in-law... I know him primarily as a sculptor, but this may be a different person. It will take me a while to read all your middle--- I read the beginning and then skipped to the end..... I'm just back from Memphis! Ricky home today and he and Robert will visit Gregg. hug each other for me, tantieckistan
My, oh, my.....
Oh, my....
Just read the whole first piece. Quite an advancement from the little brown book with Arabic numbers from one to ten, and a story about Abdullah the head waiter at the Palais Jamais in Fez who used to serve the former Prime MInister of
Rhodesia. Quite an advancement in journaling.
Yikes!!!
The pictures are worth what they have always been reputed to be worth.....but the words are worth a thousand pictures. Thank you so much B and Z. I love reading your musings and the descriptions of what your life has been over the past month.
Be safe and full.
